As a native and lifelong resident of Hampton Roads, I am very excited about the Hampton Roads Gala! This is the first event to recognize the region as a whole, and all that it has to offer.

In my job with the City of Norfolk, I see the importance and the value in all of us working together to take Hampton Roads to the next level and make it all that it can be. That’s why I am so proud to join Hampton Roads LIVE in this celebration of what makes this area so unique. The Waterside in downtown Norfolk Virginia has joined the 2011 Hampton Roads Gala with their support of the gala's inspirational talent search series.

The Waterside which is located in Downtown Norfolk, Virginia is now apart of the festivities leading up to the 2011 Hampton Roads Gala. The Hampton Roads Gala committee is excited to welcome aboard The Waterside, they have come on board as the audition facility for The Performers of Hampton Roads inspirational talent competition series.

The auditions will allow local artists the opportunity to come and try for their chance to perform at the 2011 Hampton Roads Gala and have the opportunity work with a Grammy award winning production company. The auditions will be held Feb. 5th, 19th, March 5th, 19th, and April 9th, 23rd inside The Waterside which is located at 333 Waterside Drive, Norfolk, VA 23510.
